The other day I went for a run on the beach and in usual fashion I moved into a pulse between a medium pace of motion, and a slower stroll to let my heart and breath catch up.

On one of my slower segments I looked up at the rich blue sky and saw a soaring pelican literally floating in thin air.

It was breathtaking.

Its wings didn't flap at all yet it was being held up in the vastness of the sky while still moving forward.

I thought to myself what if life was meant to be easy?

Yes, challenge will still visit and some days will be filled with more sensation than others. But what would shift if I trusted more?

If I flapped my wings less?

If I let the momentum of effort carry me further?

Maybe it would be easy.
