EWG (Environmental Working Group) puts out an annual review of sunscreens on the market. With skin cancer rates on the rise from 7.89 per 100,000 population in 1975 to 23.57 in 2010 (NCI 2013) there is room for concern, and the reality is that chemical filled sunscreens might be contributing to disease rates instead of mitigating them.
